Many in West Bengal, particularly the young generation have not yet seen the Non Left or congress rule so far. So, they want to get practical knowledge of what congress or allies rule means. This aspect is conductive to change. But can anyone expect that Mamata Bbanerjee, (if elected) will remain in power as long as left did. Perhaps even Mamata Banerjee not.

The West Bengal survey is on predicted lines. Trinmool congress and congress alliance is leading. In Kerala, the fight is neck to neck and the predictions are not so correct.

These surveys are of no use. Many of these are just paid and sponsored by interested parties for creating an environment in favor of some parties. These surveys should be banned.

Asom Gana Parishad has alleged rigging of polls by congress. Congress has ridiculed this. Allegation of riggibng is not new in India. Indira Gandhi won withan overwhelming majority aftersplit in Congress. It was alleged that she rigged the elections with some mechanism. There have been allegations of rigging against Lalu Yadav and some other parties.

Recently, opposition leaders had met election commision and expressed doubt over reliability of AVMs as these could be programmed in favor of certain parties.

The possibility of programming of EVMs so as to favor certain parties is not ruled out. It is necessary to develop some method to avoid possibility of rigging elections.
