Untimely death of a young person in an accident prompted me to write an article. The cause of death was serious head injury arising from not wearing helmet. The link for the article is:

Unfortunately, a doctor aged around 45 in prime of his career died in an accident at Meerut. I was at Meerut in the last two days. This man was also not wearing helmet and died after remaining in comma for a few days.

I wish to impress upon all through this post to always wear a steel helmet while driving a two wheeler and preferably also when riding in the pillion seat.

yeah i agreed helmets have their important value while driving . each of us who use to drive on two wheelar are requested to wear a helmet.
Helmet is for our security not for others. but people wear it for the policemen so that they can escape from bribe.

These people think that they are genius in this world..
Delhi High court has asked why women are exempt from wearing helmet. Accidents are not gender specific. so law should be same for men and women.

A few years ago my uncle who was diabetic was severely hit by a lorry and had he not worn the helmet; he would have as well been dead.

His children were small and it was the time he got promoted. The impact of the accident is such that one finger was to amputated and also his leg was supposed to be amputated. My father rushed to his help and requested the doctors not to amputate his leg but to find alternative. They cut his two fingers on the left hand and gave many instructions and precautions to be better. I myself visited my uncle after the operation and it was a scary sight to watch.

The doctors were really thankful that he had a helmet worn.
I myself met with an accident last year and thanks to my helmet, I was bruised on my feet and hands with my dress torn. Had it not been for my helmet, I would have sustained head injuries
Yes wearing helmet is safe, but in most of the states pillion riders don't wear helmets
