It may be a remake but we will know only if the film releases..

Rohit Shetty's 'Entertainment of the Year' Singham is the most talked about summer release this year. Shot entirely in Goa, a remake of the Tamil film, this Reliance Entertainment's Hindi version has the backdrop around Maharastrian where Ajay Devgan plays the role of an inspector Bajirao Singham; Southern beauty Kajal Aggarwal plays his love interest and Prakash Raj plays the villian.
