Women had always role as spies. In ancient India, girls were trained as spies and also made poisonous by snake bite and consumption of hard liquor and poison. They were known as Vish Kanya or Poison girls.

Never heard about anything like this before but really an interesting one to know....Would have liked to follow the link but unfortunately it didn't open in my browser...
