Many get suspended once they cross a certain level, may be that is the reason for suspension

They suspend in yahoo answers if other members report for any question or answer against community guide lines. There is no upper limit for answers or points. I am still in yahoo answers. Your category also goes up when points increase. If you post any advertising content or adult material, this will be considered against community guidelines and on reporting, membership can be suspended.

If the yahoo answer section is only suspended, another ID can be opened and answers given. But the points in old ID will be lost. It is absolutely necessary to abide by the community guidelines and not post any obscene adult content and not to post any advertisement. Also, there should be no offensive language against others.
