We need to popularize E Books that may be read on E Book reader or on computers by downloading from internet. This will improve environment by saving trees that are cut for paper manufacture. It is heartening that E Books are getting popular in China. We need to learn from Chinese experience.

In some extent it is true that popularizing E books will save our trees. But reading on computer for longer time can affect health badly. So there must be balance in both. I personally prefer paper books not e books. Now there are environment friendly recycled paper is also available, it can be promoted.

I had downloaded many e-books from net.But I get less time to read all of them!
While it is true that environment is a big concern I am not much for an E-book reader. I prefer the old-fashioned print-and-paper books for the sole reason that their smell and feel are associated with so many fond memories! I actually like to scout around for used old books because they have, many times, such interesting, witty and revealing things written on the sides, an insight into the book!

If we want to save trees, we should just plant more and stop the production of silly toilet papers and paper tissues, and use good old water and hadkerchiefs instead!
I also feel that books should be with us after reading so that we can present it to others after our reading.E-book can be read by those technos only.
