The person should be caught by the police and should be hanged to death.

There might be many cases like this, but only few come to light,

It is very unfortunate event. These kind of persons are defaming this holy profession. He must get severe punishment if he has done so.

People change when they get opportunities.That is why all the profession had got such bad practices.

Womens are not safe anywhere... They are falling prey to such sick mens... There are really strict laws required...

Strict law is already there. We need only (1) ensure that women particularly and others also do not blindly trust religious swamis, Tantrik, astrologers, reiki masters etc. The reiki masters claim to cure all diseases just by touch. The 'reiki skill' is not imparted in any institution but is imparted in individual master- pupil tradition. If a woman believes that a 'Reiki master' can cure her by mere touch, she can definitely be cheated.

(2) The attitude towards 'chastity' or 'sexual purity' needs change. Nobody bothers about purity or chastity of men. But women chastity is considered cery significant. We need fight against this double standard. A woman after rape is still as good as she was before. No stigma should be attached to her.

Since this unfortunate event happened, you should not doubt on Reiki's healing capacities.

Unfortunate events are practiced by such therapists mostly.That is why the system is hated.

Reiki is not a system of medicine recognized by Government. The Reiki experts may at best be considered quacks. There is no education system for Reiki. The Reiki masters only claim to teac this by private contact method. So if you wish to learn Reiki, you must search for some Reiki master and learn from him. There are doubts about this. But this has nothing to do with rape. Even an Allopathic doctor could rape or do any malpractice.

I feel that Indian women were safe during the purdah system-all women were confined to home and only men were outside home and no women were allowed to show their face to any male.This ensured so much security and protection to women.
Alas! the moral values inhibited by both men and women alike in this generation is diminishing day by day

Still woman were not safe in our society. So, Give punishment of that criminal for life.

You don't need extra skills to put doubt on anything. you can doubt anywhere and on anything. I don't know whether you have any experiences with Reiki or not. Your suspect will not dilute the benefits of Reiki. Rape is entirely different issue. It can be done by any professional rather any body. Don't discuss reiki system with the rape issue. You can create separate thread for it if you wish to discuss on it.

Kumaresh. I wrote that if a woman feels that mere touch can cure her, she subjects herself to risk. Similar risk is from other physicians as well as Tantriks. Trusting anyone blindly subjects one to risk. This is all. I have no intention to discuss various therapies.
