Australia fast bowler Shaun Tait on Monday announced his retirement from one-day cricket to concentrate on the Twenty20 form of the game.

Tait, 28, who has just returned from the World Cup on the subcontinent, said he will step down from the national and South Australia one-day teams in an attempt to prolong his career.

He has taken this decision at very early stage of his career. He could have gone playing for few more years.

it's not a good news because saun tait is a very good fast bowler for australia,i tait decision is own

i think he is best suited for the T20s then in tests and odis.Hence he have decided to concentrate on T20.

He is still young. He can very well play for few more years. He is fanatic about T20 matches like all other fans i believe.

Yes I agree, this decission from Tait came a bit early because he could have played a few more years and then should have opted for such a decission but he must have something in his mind which led to take him such a decission...

i think the main reason could be his consistency in bowling. he is struggling with his line and length so he decided it could be better to play the shortest form of the game...
