As far as their life is not risked (it can be seen in picture, if someone looses balance), till that its ok to celebrate.
the main problem is that the students are using Govt. buses for celebrating and the celebrations goes for around one week. the common people are much affected by this.
Why they celebrate bus day ? Why only government buses are selected?
There's no particular reason for celebrating bus day, each college will celebrate one day. If possible i will try to get the link for this news.
If the purpose of celebration is to promote public transport as against personal vehicle, I welocme this and appreciate the gesture. We need to encourage public transport and make it best and discourage personal transport for sake of better utilization of space on road and homes, avoid needless parking, better and economic use of fuel.

If it is for some promotion or for some good cause it's fine, if not i don't think it should be celebrated
Is this a celebration? It causes traffice jam, losses around thousands of rupees and damage to the public properties...I personally don't support such celebrations...
The news says "Friday saw hundreds of motorists and Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) commuters hit as traffic was disrupted on the Anna Nagar-Anna Square, Avadi-Mandaveli and Tambaram-Broadway routes when scores of students travelled on bus tops and hung on to the windows forcing the drivers to trundle along at half the normal speed. "

It is not a good celebration then.
