India- Biggest arms importer

It is reported that India is biggest importer of arms. Defense needs and internal disturbances need arms import. Incidentally, I wonder if arms used by terrorists and Maoists are also included in the said import data.

with maoists on one side and terrorists on the other side the problems faced by India are aplenty. add to this the constant threat of war from its neighbors-Pakistan and china.... no wonder india has to import the weapons to keep these dangers at standby....
