Congress has lost ground in most Indian states. Once a massive organization with monopoly of power is now in hopeless minority in many states like U.P., Bihar, West Bengal etc. Now congress is begging for more seats from alliance partners. Recently, congress struggled hard to get a few more seats in Tamilnadu. Now same scenario in West Bengal. Let see how far Mamata Banerjee accommodates Congress.

Congress is meeker in West Bengal as compared to Tamilnadu. Here, Congress is more at mercy of BIG SISTER, Mamata.
Apart from constituencies to be allotted to congress, there is another issue of Railway Ministry in the event of left ouster. Many TMC aspirants are looking for entering in Rail Bhawan.
