India batsman Gautam Gambhir was on Monday named captain of Kolkata Knight Riders team for the Indian Premier League season four starting next month. Announcing Gambhir's appointment as KKR captain, the IPL team described him a thorough professional and praised his leadership qualities.

"We are delighted that Gautam Gambhir will be leading our team. He is a thorough professional and his performance and leadership qualities speak for themselves," KKR CEO & MD Venky Mysore said in a KKR release.

Yes, a positive move to make him the captain and Gambhir is such a player that given an opportunity he always proved himself. If we could remember as a captain with Delhi Dare Devil he did an excellent job in the last season.

Good News for KKR. Atleast now they will feel happy, after three season. This time i believe that KKR will be champion.

The first three seasons wasn't good enough for KKR. With the current team and Gambhir as captain can do wonders for KKR..
