In a narrow escape for 140 air passengers, an Air India plane ferrying defense personnel and their families overshot the runway and suffered tyre bursts while landing at Lengpui airport near here, airport sources said on Monday, Mar 7. It appears that Airplanes are also being used same way as road vehicles.

these type of incidents should be a lesson to the pilots, luckily no one got injured..

I wonder why most of the incidents happen with Air India. As ramachandran stated, thank god there are no casualties.

extra care needs to be taken by the pilot because there are many passengers onboard.
