We sleep about one third of our life. We do not exactly why. Doctors say that we need about six hours sleep daily. But this is not same for all. See the video for better understanding.

sleep is necessary as the body requires rest..it cannot function more and more without rest...
sleep is necessary for each and every one it makes brain fresh and strong.
sleeping is mandatory for the body for proper functioning. but in rare cases we have to wake up for whole night or have to sleep only for 1-2 hours but this occurs only for 1-2 days or very rare not daily.
