Australia skipper Ricky Ponting was on Wednesday reprimanded by the International Cricket Council after he smashed a dressing room television set during a World Cup tie.

The ICC said that Ponting had accepted the charge under the code of conduct which relates to "abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during an international match".

Good action taken by ICC and Ponting should not break any rule which is against the spirit of the game.

good action by the ICC, but these type of incidents are common to the Australians as earlier they smashed Washing machine in CWG.
Some small incidents get huge attraction by the media coverage. Why should it be left unnoticed?
