When Indians try to imitate the west, they some times follow what, that is not acceptable to Indian cultural environment. Actually, is dating required?

You can date someone you come in contact with. So office colleague would be best to date with even if this causes difficulty. The article also does not warn against dating anyone. You only need to avoid certain categories like Boss, Boss's wife etc. If you are in a big office and you date with an unmarried person without causing inconvenience to office routine and discipline, there is nothing wrong. In fact, in my long official life, I have seen many couples who had dated as office colleagues.

Sandhya, you are right but not absolutely right. Love marriages fail because people take hasty decision and expectations are much more but if decision is taken after proper thought is given then it won't fail.

Yes. Expectations are there in both love and arranged marriages. But it goes high in the case of love marriages. This eventually causes many problems.

I also feel the same, our work place is not the right place for finding some one for dating, however what is wrong with boss's spouse as long as they are not part of the office. :blush:
