excessive consumption of alcohol is indeed very bad for health and kidneyss.
Alcohol is totally bad for health. No matter a person consumes less or in excess. Why there is a need to drink alcohol?. I find no reason behind it.

There is conflict between joy and health. If you care only about health, you will not enjoy the charms of life. wine, woman and song make life joyous and cheerful. Unlike machine, human body is not only for longevity. Hence, a balance needs be struck between need for good health and joy of life. Hence, consumption of alcoholic drink and spicy food in moderation is okay. Only healthy and simple food, no drink, no dance will give you a healthy body but dull life.
Taking anything moderate is OK but one should try to avoid it mostly. I dont find enjoyment in having cancer or other diseases..
