Maharashtra pays Rs 10 lakh fine

Hours after Supreme Court judge Justice A K Ganguly expressed ‘’shock’’ at the continuation of the indicted Vilasrao Deshmukh as the Union Rural Development Minister, the Maharashtra Government has paid the Supreme Court a fine of Rs 10 lakh imposed for obstruction of police action against a Congress legislator, allegedly at the behest of Vilasorao Deshmukh, who was then the chief minister.

The fine has been paid out of tax payer money. It should be paid out of pocket of the defaulting ministers.
Yeah i accept to the view of Gulshan. The minister will be paying from the funds allocated or from government pocket and not from his.

That is why our country does not progress.
And if this continues, then i dont think that India will mark its place in list of developed countries by 2020
The real losers are the public because it is only them who lost their money.
