The ubiquitous gutka and tobacco sachets may soon disappear from paan shops across the country. With the Supreme Court leaning hard to curb use of plastics, the environment ministry on Monday banned the use of plastic in packaging of tobacco goods.

The decision looks very pragmatic on its face and now lest's see what happens at the ground level!

It is a very good decision.Now cigaret packets have an external plastic coat also.It should be banned first.

In our Kozhikode District the plastic carry bags,plastic cups etc are going to be prohibited.
