Actually we are taught in childhood itself that snake is a cruel one.That is why we fear it.

Here is one of my experience.In a recent trucking we about 70 people passed very near , just a feet away to a viper, twice.It didn't move from its position at all!!

Our elder tought us from child hood that snake is dangerous , so that fear is feeded in our subconscious mind.So when we see a snake we will be fear of it.
