Yes the plans are at premium as airtel is a premium network with very less complaint rate.

It appears that 3g will replace 2g in a year or so. I have recently taken Tata docomo 3G stick that is not working in y locality. Air tel is also starting 3g services at Agra in March. We have to make an intelligent choice and insist on getting demonstration in own locality/ address before buying. The 3g being in infancy stage, we need be more cautious.

Yes Mr.Gulshan you are right one should always test the network at the place he/she is regularly going to use the data card for ensuring value for money.

My mind hadn't tuned to this new technology so far eventhough BSNL 3G is available here.
