National Youth Day - a back thought

To be frank now i am not doing anything for society but have desire to do..In my childhood i actively participated in collecting donations for leprosy and other disabled people..who need support..

I think as a youth one can do many things for improvement of society but now-a-days most of the youth spend their time for themseleves. On this day maybe youth should release their role for the society. :)

It is commemorated today by a South African national holiday, Youth day, which honors all the young people who lost their lives in the struggle

Through College NSS Unit we are jointly doing a lot of activities.The latest is to build a house for a lonely lady.

I wish to do something for the poor and the needy.I usually give food packets once in a week to some 10 people begging on road side.But,if i earn money surely i will do it on bigger scale like educating them. :) :) .I wish everybody should have food,clothing and shelter.

I do my bit by volunteering for a group that works for protection of peacocks and forested hills in the heart of Pune city!

I wish to do much more than this but in the present scenario I can only do so much!
