How to qualify for moderator here

I am having the same query. How can one become moderator here ?

Can anyone share requirements for the same?

Once there was a need of moderators and Maverick announced the same.Only two came front.I was not there in that two!But later when some members suggested me as moderator to GD I just started it and the position was awarded only recently.I think the criteria is being active in forums with good responses.I don't know any other qualification is there in my case.

It is best to participate actively and devote maximum time and energy. When your work is considered, offer for moderator can come even without asking. If selected as a moderator, you are duty bound to devote time and energy. Otherwise, you are free to participate according to tie available.

You may write to Webmaster viz. Maverick about your desire to be moderator. You may get the appointment when need arises.

If there are so many applications for moderator then Maverick has to arrange MEE i.e. Moderator Entrance Examination.

Our participation in forum, polls, GD, articles is basis for appointment as moderator. Number of points, posts, cash earned etc. are strong basis for selection as moderator. Hence MEE may not be necessary.
