What is Chindonesia?

Chindonesia is a shorthand for China , India and Indonesia, because these three Asian countries are expected to become the backbone of Asia's economic revival and perhaps the next powerhouse of the world after BRIC.

Nicholas Cashmore, a Jakarta-based Asia-Pacific Markets economist, coined the term.Chindonesia already generates economic activity equal to 44% ofthe US economy . Within five years, its gross domesticproduct will cross $10 trillion.
