Today morning I have posted answers to some threads, the thing is that the number of posts have increased but the points are not credited to my account. Is there any limit for number of posts per day?

No there is no limit on the number of posts which you post daily, May be, that you have replied in short or in very few words thats you are not given any points.
Points are given when you have posted a good and a bit lenghthy reply may be two lines.
