Well nothing new to expect from parliament houses as they always wait for chance to disperse.
The ruling party ids adamant against JPC probe. Sonia Gandhi has openly opposed the probe and questioned opposition party's right to ask for probe. although the opposition party may also not be honest, the parliamentary system requires that opposition point out shortcomings of ruling alliance.

Apparently, Sonia Gandhi
is going the Indira/ Rajiv way. Indira was given rebuff by the people as she refuted the claim of judiciary to try her and imposed emergency only for covering her misdeeds. People did not forgive Rajiv for Bofors scam. How she hopes that people will support her despite the super scams.

You cant demand Mr Singh to step down unnecessary. He is good guy but he running the show as a leader of a coalation govt and also from the congress party. He has to keep all well!!

When a government is performing in such a hopeless manner with lots of scam, opposition can definitely demand resignation of the Union cabinet. However, this is another matter that the main opposition does not differ much from the ruling alliance in matter of misrule and corruption.
Now Pranab Mukherjee blames opposition for destroying parliament. But are both UPA and NDA not equally responsible for destroying parliamentary functioning.

Speaker is hosting meet with ruling and opposition for ending stalemate over JPC demand so as to conduct Monsoon session of parliament smoothly. There appears no end to the crisis as oppistion is ready for nothing short of JPC.

The opposition is firm on JPC. In view of near unanimity among opposition on JPC demand, which which some of UPA members also agree, the Govt. should agree to the demand and ensure smooth functioning of next session of parliament.
