here in Telugu, while speaking in slang, we say 'yenti amma' when we are irritated with that person or when we are in a hurry or when we dont want to listen but forced to listen and when we dont know what to address the lady (as elder or younger'
and about the contradictory words, it is 'Cheppu ra' or 'chep ra' meaning 'tell me' . it does not rhyme with chup raho becasue chepu ra sounds more like 'Chayppu ra'
the 'entiamma' of telugu is different from 'entha amma' in malayalam
It is like the malayalam joke. one guy learns malayalam and asks a shop keeper "Entha patti" instead of "Endu pathi"

Let me write song thing more....."Endu pathi"...I think you are saying "What happened?".
But if we write 'pathi' this way...it means husband. 'Extra H'
I think it should be written as 'patti'
so same word pronounced in 2 different ways..isn't it?
