In the film Nayak, Anil Kapoor is made Chief minister for 1 day. (In Muthalvan, Arjun did the same role). We can see, how he is utilizing that 24 hours in a better way and win everyone's heart.
Suppose, you are made CM for 1 day, what tasks will you do in that 24 hours?????

The Left ruled continuously for more than three decades in West Bengal unlike Kerala. This could be reason for better performance in Kerala.

Neither left nor right was able to rule the state continuously for two terms till now.
This election, they lost it by just 2 seats...a close finish.
That may be the reason....
But the question arises....why a party was not able to sustain its power????
It shows the incapability......isn't it?

The performance alone does not matter. There are caste, religion, personality cult and international factors also involved. There are a large number of committed voters who always vote for a particular party. The uncommitted voters are fewer and they ultimately decide. In U.P., there are certain caste or groups who will vote for Mayavati/ B.S.P. in all conditions. There are committed voters of B.J.P. and some other parties also. People have also second or third preferences in their mind and sometimes they will vote for any party that could defeat their most disliked one. In U.P. this is what happens. Here many disliked B.S.P. most and so they voted for Samajvadi party even though their first preference could be BJP or congress.

it's really nice that both the parties get rule one after the other. people will be more benefited.

I still have a doubt....when all Bengalis are saying Communists have ruined their state, how were they able to retain the power for these long years???

This is how media works. Just see what happens when left returns to power. What is said about Left will be said about Mamata Banerjee and her party. Media is seldom fair. Still Left have greater base. People just wanted a change as they had seen left rule for unprecedented long period.

Now Mamata Banerjee toys with idea of mid term poll next year. This is as all blackmailers and opportunists wish. Very early elections give an opportunity to fain more seats as people get little opportunity to evaluate performance. This is just as Mayavati worked.

Let us wait for some more wise replies....I think, no politicians in our group. No impressed replies have come yet
I want to help poor children by giving free knowledge to them.

And to avoid child labour.
That is such a great job, unless some one starts doing some thing good.
I hope you will succeed.
But when we try to become CM the other politicians definitely will kill me.

That's the reason they are given the security by the government.Don't worry for it.
No I don't want to become CM for one day, that is not enough for what I am planning to do.
Even the securities will be given money to kill a honest person in this world.

That's what I would prefer to call as one of greatest political mysteries of all times. May be the people of Bengal gave the communists a long rope to hang themselves with!!

Sasi don't worry you will get full security for one day.
:) If I become chief minister, I will ask the authorities to repair roads permanently, provide free buildings with food and stay for the aged people, orphans and women who are alone, provide more ladies buses and if possible trains, ask the police to control goondas otherwise lose job, reduce the school bag burden and abolish dowry in my state, all this I can make orders in a day, if possible. Thanks for the question.

You won't be able to complete these if you make five yearly plan otherwise you can do some of the tasks you have thought to do. :)

You mean that is best way to do harakiri, spare me I have so many things else to do. CM is not my priority.

This is correct. There are no politicians in Boddunan. Even if they were here, you cannot expect honest reply from them.
Yes you are right Gulshan ji there is no need to stay here for them as they are earning unlimited money from other resources.
Sanjeev every good politician says that he is not interested in posts etc but basically he is in politics for power and posts.

That shows you have all the qualities to become a politician and eagerly waiting for some party to give you a ticket.
I want to take some action on media which is doing and hiking some unnecessary events.
