Agra has shown lead by banning Polythene bags. This is a good step to avoid pollution.

It is good to know that Agra has taken the initiative of avoiding polythene usage.
Well a small city has stated the initiative and hope other cities also learn from this and adopt environment friendly materials.. :)
Human chain was formed by residents of Agra on Sunday 19th December to make public opinion against use of poluthene.

It is a good initiative taken by the city officials!

But the point is will it be followed through and not given up after some time???

Its really good step taken by the city. Polythene is really harmful and it create pollution. So, by avoiding the use, pollution will be reduced by some extent

Agra is always bustling with outsiders,this is an important and inevitable measure they had to take.Hopefully going forward the nation on whole would follow.

A good move by one of the oldest city in India. But there are so many hardships to implement it due to the tourist attraction of the place. Other wise the authorities have to do something from the railwaystation and busstation itself..
yes its a good initiative taken Agra, hope other cities also implement it..
