mamata Banerjee has ensured development through railway Department. Will it not be better that she concentrates more on security in trains and facilities to passengers instead of talking on matters not relevant to her ministry.

In the entire developmental process the role of Indian railways is very vital and she might be just emphasising that aspect.For example she has plans to lay railway tracks in some of the backward districts of West Bengal which are most neglected and are happy- hunting -grounds for Maoists and other elements.
Unemployment and development are incidental to every economic activity. This cannot be an excuse from sidetracking from main job. Mamata is definitely not interested in her job to provide better service to railway users. Next West Bengal elections and Writers Building are her main dreams.

@Gulshan

If she has set her goals to win the next elections in West Bengal by defeating her political opponents who are clinging on to power for the last 34 years what is so exceptional and unusual about it!As the head of a politicial party her plans and goals are perfectly legitimate.

Her goals are okay. Let her aim what she wills. But she is doing so by neglecting her role as Union Railway minister. She is also openly allying with Maoists. She is just an anarchist and nothing else. If she acts as a responsible political leader, there would be no issue.

Yes, the security issues are to be solved first rather than putting hands somewhere.

After going through your reply I just wonder how easily people get carried away by emotion and misinformation and disinformation campaign launched by her political mainly her leftist opponents.If she has openly allied with Maoists,there are enough laws in the country to put her behind the bars but even her opponents have not done so far and have been harping on it which has pleased you so much that it almost sounds a conviction for you!!The second charge against her is that she has not been attending to her duties as Railway Minister which is also a figment of imagination of some people and one can be judgemental on this and that's his or her personal choice but the fact remains that her performance as Railway Minister has drawn praises both from the Prime Minister to whom she is accountable and Sonia Gandhi.So don't try to portray her as one of the worst non-performing ministers! Here is a lady who has been in public life for more than 30 years and without a single case of personal corruption against her and her rising popularity in West Bengal owes to this factor. She has sided with the impoverished people of Bankura,Purulia and Midnapore which are infested by Maoists and not with the Maoists.So impoverished are these people that they were forced to eat even worms in a state which has been ruled by the comrades for the past 34 years! She may be temperamental but she does not practise double-speak and double-dealing like many of her leftist opponents.These days West Bengal is rocked by exposes of one after another involving these comrades who have amassed wealth at the cost of common people by selling Marx and Lenin!!.So making comments on a person like Mamata without possessing enough knowledge about her might be a grossly unfair exercise.
Mainly she should concentrate on providing good services to passenger and on time schedules of the trains............
Yes,there are many issues persisting in the railway ministry.She can concentrate on those issues too.Up til now no proper measures has been taken for maintaining hygiene in toilets in trains and railway tracks.Though the public is also responsible for it,some advanced methodologies can be adapted for proper maintenance.
Security is very important . I believe that mamta banerjee need to solve this issue first. Its not that easy to solve this issue, especially, in the areas where moists are the leader.

The Left Front Government is paying price for misrule by repeated defeats in every election from parliament to Panchayats. Te people will deal with them and they will be compelled to perform or perish.

But this does not justify Maoists, anarchism and total avoidance of her job as railway Minister. One wrong does don not make another right. Recently a Maoists has been arrested from vehicle of A Trinmul Leader's car. Many more evidences of her total alliance with Maoists are surfacing.
