I hope the detained opposition leader is released soon. :) :) .I wish coming Saturday will bring happiness to her. :) :)
Myanmar is by itself a jail. Release of suu Kyi will just land her in a broader jail. There is gross violation of human rights in Myanmar. The recent elections are sham. The word community must rise against human rights violation by military junta. The government in that country is illegitimate.
Burma pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi will help investigate charges of election fraud if and when she is released from house arrest this week, a close political colleague said Wednesday. To know more,http://www.cbc.ca/politics/story/2010/11/10/world-burma-myanmar-suu-kyi.html
May be it's under tremendous international pressure which has led to this decision but it's a cosmetic exercise!
If she is released it will be like another Nelson Mandela release.
I don't think the Mynamar Military Junta would allow her to undertake normal political activities!
Hope that the release gets more sooner. Its long journey for Suu and this long journey has made her strong.
The speculations is going on and on.But there is no confirmed report yet.An additional information from ibnlive is Myanmar, which has been under military rule since 1962, is holding 2,000 political prisoners. :( :(
The ruling junta in Burma is reported to have signed the release of the detained leader. see the report:

Yes, a new sun is going to rise in Myanmar soon.We can wait and see.
People are waiting eagerly for her release and gathering to see her. They have huge expectations from her. will the military junta let her perform. Will the peoples' expectations be satisfied.

It's indeed,in the realm of speculation whether she would be allowed to carry on her political activities and the whole world needs to bring on more pressure on the ruling Junta in this regard!
