Thanks for sharing the information,Neetu.I have decided not to light too much of crackers on the day of Diwali.This is my contribution to stop pollution.
We are already having a taste of it and just hope the administration would be more effective this time!
Nagalakshmi nice initiative..but pollution is mostly caused due to carbon dioxide..emittion which is not generated through burning crackers...Do you know that crackers burning can kill some harmful insectes and mosquitoes..I think most of them are prepared taking pollution into account...
High decibel crackers are a big source of noise pollution and some companies still make these crackers illegally and these find ways into the market and the administration looks the other way!
