Some good news about education atlast.. :) :) :)
I think local civilians should definetely co-operate or else there will never be peace that that beautiful state.. :)
The future of the Kashmir children is in the hands of the politicians.Though the attendance is low on Monday hope more children will come and join the school in the forthcoming days.
Yes Nagalakshmi... :(

Donno who is encouraging the mobs to throw stones at....

Poor students were very scared and were not going to school... Even parents were not interested in sending their children to school... :(
this is a good news but is there any guarantee that the home minister can give
Hope good sense prevails after the announcement of the Kashmir package!
The separatist Hurriyat Conference party leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani asked the Kashmir parents not to send their wards to schools and colleges. He also announced a fresh calendar of strikes for the next ten days.
I don't know why the Government of India could not be firm with these elements who are paid Pakistani agents and never show the courage to face any popular elections. They should be sent back to Pakistan to show their love for Pakistan!!!
It is really shameful on Geelani. Are his family members denied of education?.I think they would be in a very safe place.
These leaders lead a five-star life style sending their wards abroad for foreign education and have a taste for all good thing of life and throwing the common Kashmiris to th wolves!!
Though the people are aware of this why they are unable to distinguish between the right and the wrong?
Really the condition in Kasmir is pathetic. How can they move ahead in this world?

Well if they are not able to move in their own home place safely how can we think of the world...I dont think they will be able to leave kashmir also in such situation.. :(
It has to be decided by the Kashmiris themselves. They have to give up their fond hope 'Azadi'!
Yes,as Chinmoy said there should be a change in the mind set of the Kashmiris. :)
With divided loyalties they are hardly doing themselves a great service! Even if theoretically India allows them to seperate themselves from India,Pakistan would gobble them up in no time!!And the muslim settlers from India after partition who are known as Mojahirs in Pakistan are second class citizens. They should stop romancing with their Pakistan prospects looking at the pathetic condition of Mojahirs in Pakistan. The Punjabi muslims are not only dominating in all walks of life in Pkaistan but oppressing other communities!!
Geelani should be punished ruthlessly for his actions. He is a senseless person
The government has to follow a well-calibrated policy of being very firm with separatist elements and being reasonable with the saner elements. Those who shout "Indian Dogs Go Back" have to be shown the door to Pakistan!!!
I think the issue is a deep rooted one.To solve it some miracles needed.
