NEW DELHI: India has retained its second position in originating spam, accounting for about 12.55 per cent of the global junk mails sent in July, even after reducing the number of mails sent, says a study.

Besides, the US has continued to maintain its first position as the ' king of spam' relaying nearly one-fourth of the world's total junk mails and Brazil also continued to hold the third position with 12 per cent, the study by Trend Micro said.

Ha Ha..I never though that we are following the footsteps of US..In population China..I think India is always very good follower in bad things than good things..

India does not have a law against spam. However, there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel. India also wakes up to the urgent need of legally regulating spam and appropriate amendments need to be carried out under the Indian cyber law to incorporate effective remedies in this regard.

Hmm ... Yes we have many spam mails circulating around.

And a very sad news is that when I returned from my vacation, I got mails from my contacts saying that my account is circulating spam mails. I donot know why this happened to my account. :(
Can anyone get me with the details and ways to get rid of this problem with my account?

You just mark them spam. then spams will not come to inbox. they will go to spam folder.
