What an upset we have had Roddick is out!!! I thought going into 4th round Roddick had the easiest match among all the challengers aiming for their first Wimbledon, but not to be, it was exceptional performance from Lu than Roddick playing poorly, Lu deserved to be in quarters, How far he might go ? looks like he has a good shot at Djoker in quarters.

Federer and Nadal just looked like had a nice match practice before they take on formidable opponents like Berdych and Soderling respectively.

Another big surprise was Soderling who was yet to drop a set barely just managed to cross the line in the end, and again Ferrer was supposed to be cakewalk, but he played out of his skin and almost pulled an upset, with this 5 setter it makes very interesting to see the mouth watering quarterfinals against Rafa.

Djoker and Hewitt played some sensational tennis, but it was bit surprising to see Hewitt mentally crumbling when it mattered most, which cost him the first 2 sets and probably the match and though Djoker won in 4 sets he looked exhausted and at times breathing hard and would need a herculean task to win 5 setter against Federer/Rafa/Murray with his fittness level.

Murray so far has been doing fine as one of the favorites to win with clinical performance and looks like he is in great shape who is yet to drop a set, and is up against Tsongo in the quarters.

It is going to be a great quarterfinals with some great matches and with the Top 4 making it to the quarters
Let new champions emerge out.All time champions is not a good trend.

why does Federer give excuses whenever he loses?.Does it he befit a champion of 15 Grand Slams.
This loss has hurt him badly!Do have a heart for him!
This is the lesson from the results. "Experienced players should not take new comers easily as you may get an upset".

I think whatever he has achieved in tennis he might have earned a permanent place in the history of the game. It's a lesson for him in the truth that one has to leave the stage at some stage or the other.
