This is a very good move!!

In the recent times there is a good awareness on this issue...

The bank statements are also turned to be a soft copy... :)
The entire government machinery is getting computerized. The Ministry of finance has decided to go paperless and has introduced E- filing of Returns and made E- payment of taxes compulsory.
The Rajya Sabha also cannot afford to remain manual. Computer assures speed, uniformity and accuracy. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
Good news..

Now they will get more weapons to throw on each other... :)
It is a move in the right direction and in consonance with the current green practices.
At last they are implementing it. I remember this one year back in some other site this was proposed by someone in the forums.
In India things do move at a snail's pace in the government. It's better late than never!
This is a very good move on the part of the govt. Though I guess it will quite a task for the training agencies to train the MPs etc on how to use computers apart from throwing the systems at each other!
Here lies the rub! To train our MPs and I hear some of them don't even put their hands on the laptops they are given!!
Chinmoy- Oure MPs may still not use the computer. The Rajya Sabha secretariat and staff will definitely use computer.
