Rocky died for the country. Rocky Amar Rahe. Brave hearts like Rocky do not die. They live forever in the hearts of every Indian

When the terrorists attacked the bus of BSF from the middle of the road, Constable Rocky was the only Jawan inside the bus who was armed. When the terrorists tried to open the door of the bus, he took his weapon at the door and attacked the terrorists. At last, he lost his life while bravely fighting terrorists.  But he was able to save the life of several BSF personnel who were on the same bus.

It was a brave act, but tens are dying every day and as a ex soldier I feel that the government is not really concerned. Awards are ok, but more is required. In particular the OROP agitation is still on, which is sad as this government has put a blanket on news about it and the press have by and large complied.

It's a classic case of putting service before self. Rocky lives forever in the hearts of every citizen of Bharat. I can understand the Soldier in you. OROP has to be implemented, If the Government is really serious about the Security of the Country. Especially in these days of fast spreading Terrorism all over the World. I sincerely hope OROP will soon come up.

The bravery of our jawans is praiseworthy. Their families should be adequately taken care of and all of us should always remain grateful to them. The issue of OROP should be resolved once for all. 

Only courageous and brave people can join in defense. They are always ready to sacrifice their life for their country. There is no guarantee for their life. They can expect the attack of terrorists at any time. Therefore, it is very urgent to rectify anomalies in government notification.

I agree. A soldier and Soldier welfare measures like OROP should be implemented. It's only then Army will rest faith in the Government.

The Defence forces are well looked after while compared to other government services except that our defence budget is not sufficient to arm the soldiers against the kind of terror they seem to be facing day in and out now ! It is war like situation with terror attacks happening all the time within the country and Pakistan firing in the borders ...It is extremely sad and makes ones blood boil to see young soldiers like Rocky laying down their life for the nation while the corrupt and greedy lot is up there protected and sitting shamelessly in their glorious secure palaces...

We are proud of our Indian army. These people do their duty in extreme conditions and save borders of our country from terrorists and other intruders.

the job of an Indian army is very hard it seems that it is very much hard to live in the condition where the Indian army lives with less food. they live for their country die for their country is there any matters for them is there country, one cannot measure the patroitic level in the blood of the Indian army

People join army to die for their country. We should respect all the soldiers who sacrifice everything for our country. Tragically, we remember about our armed forces only during the period of attack and all other times, we forget about them. But we should pay some respect and gratitude to the families who lost their beloved one's while serving the nation from dangerous attack.

That's the minimum we can do. The soldiers who brave extreme conditions of weather, caring least about their lives or their families stand as sentinels to the country. Which is why Late Lal Bahadur Shastri coined the famous slogan " Jai Jawan , Jai Kisan." A soldier and the farmer  are considered as the Saviors of the country. My Salute to the Jawans.

Indian forces prove every time that it is not possible for enemy to raise eyebrow on India till they are survive.

Now, the scenario is different. India cannot be taken for granted by the enemy countries. India and it's patriotic forces can retaliate in the most befitting way, when its Security is threatened.

Please, people do not join army to die for their country but to serve their country...
