He decided that he would make amendments little realising that the law is the same for all...Goa government has now ordered a probe since the sexual assault happened there earlier this month while the Tehelka team was staying there ..

That may not be possible I feel, but CCTV footage has its own limitations since one cannot see a person's expression especially when it is with regard to a sensitive issue...Unless it is obvious it can be interpreted in any way and a good criminal lawyer will make mincemeat of any evidence by creating confusion in the minds of the people and the jury/judge...

Yes, it was a typo.
Goa police recorded statements of 3 witnesses with whom the victim had spoken to after the sexual assault. She had also intimated through an e- mail the managing editor Shoma Choudhury.
