A Congress leader has expressed possibility of President Rule in U.P. even though elections have not yet has been held.

It is too premature to predict the likely composition of state government or President Rule before announcement of results. Let elected MLAs decide formation of government.

    The political condition of UP is not so good. Competition between political parties will be hard. It may lead to the situation of Presidency Rule. Advance prediction of such is ofcoure bit auckward. Still,I feel it will take place.

    NO way, this is simply not possible. Even at the cost of mass change of parties or split in parties shamelessly, they will never allow president rule in any state, especially in UP. Besides this is only reflection of hopelessness on the part of the member concerned.

    i think this time it will be the Samajwadi Party that will come to the power with the help of small parties , as the people of UP are not satisfied with the 5 years ruling of Mayawati.

    Please write an article or initiate another thread on system reforms. I feel that system is okay. The men in politics are not doing well. But as so called nice persons prefer to criticize from distance without entering active politics, the current active politicians have their way.

    Samajvadi party and Bahujan Samajvadi parties are major parties in U.P. It is difficult to say how the new government will function but getting clear majority has brought stability and disappointed small parties and independents who indulge in blackmailing for support.
