‘Arjitha sevas', break darshans suspended in Tirumala

The TTD management has cancelled all the arjitha sevas performed inside the temple during the nine-day annual Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara commencing from September 29.

However, the tickets of arjitha Brahmotsavams will be issued on day-to-day basis but in a limited number. Further with an intention to provide more darshan timings for the ordinary devotees thronging the sacred shrine during the ‘mega fete' the management also has resolved to dispense with the VIP break darshan on all the nine days of the festival period.

In the same vein the management has also cancelled the advance reservation of cottages and guest houses atop the temple town.
