Superstar Rajinikanth, who made a dramatic recovery from illness and returned from Singapore a few days back, is all set to make his first public appearance.
The actor, who is resting at his daughter Aishwarya’s residence in the city and spending time with his beloved grandchildren Yatra and Linga, had reportedly decided to take a longish break.
But Rajinikanth is an actor who loves to spring surprises. He is also deeply into spiritualism. So the news that’s currently spreading like wildfire is that he has decided to attend the Sadhabhishekam (80th birthday) celebrations of his spiritual guru Swami Dayananda Saraswathi.
This is good that Rajmikanth is attending celebrations of Swami Dayanand Saraswati. It may be recalled that Swami Dayanand founded Arya Samaj. He opposed idol worship and superstitions. He worked for women education. He believed that Hindu deities Rama and Krishma were great men and not God incarnates. Swami Dayanand was not just a spiritual Guru. he was a great social reformer and fighter against superstitions.
