Those who’ve snapped good photographs of the Western Ghats stretch in Kerala, save them for posterity.

Environmentalists and wildlife experts warn that this scenic beauty could become history in 50 years’ time if no protective action is taken immediately.

Studies and surveys based on satellite imaging have pointed out that due to deforestation during the past 25 years, over 30 per cent of dense forest cover has been destroyed in Kerala state alone. If the situation continues to progressively worsen like this, there isn’t much hope left for the Western Ghats.

National beauties are national treasure and no stone should be left unturned by the state govt to ensure its preservation.

Arise Awake and Rest Not till the Goal is Achieved.
