Just log in once and trace Deactivation button. With some efforts you will get this. Before deactivation, remove all your personal information. After deactivation, do not log in again. Otherwise this will be reactivated.

Want to make each day Accountable

thanks for the info Abid...it may be true and a major source of income for these social networking sites will be in this way...but in my opinion i dont think we have to deactivate our account. We can still use it for our needs, only that v should share less of our personal information and never the contact details..That way we can keep advertisers away...
well i can relaxed on this, since i am not registered on any of the social networking sities... but thanks for the information since i have to pass this to all my friends who are using facebook...
What data, is it our personal information?

Thanks a lot Abid for this information! But I don't feel any need to deactivate the account. It is a great medium to contact to your friends and others. It would be better to keep your minimum personal information there. :)

When you are using social networking sites be careful to give only required data.
