Assembly elections in West Bengal, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Pondicherry and Assam are being held shortly. CPM general Secretary Prakash Karat affirmed that Budhdev Bhattacharya will lead the ruling party in West Bengal but he was not sure about Kerala. He is Negotiating for alliance between AAIDMK and CPI(M).
