Hello Friends now we are going through a ugly ERA because most of

the young people were addicted to sexual contents. If we try to

find some information we can see that most of the searches were

for finding sex videos and other sexual things. My opinion is

that if anyone search this type of contents google or any other

search engine should not give any results. Also Sites which are

encouraging this type of dirty things should be banned forever.

I want the opinion of my friends based on this topic as this

one is a major problem in this Time and most of the childrens

were prompted to do such like worst things and their habit is

started to change. So inorder to protect the growing childrens

we should take a strong decision against it .

@Mohammed, this is a very sensitive issue with the parents these days! I commend you for taking this up. But as you suggest that blocking of these sites by search engines such as Google etc will not work. Main reason for this is, whether we like it or not, adult entertainment is widely accepted as being legal and is here to stay. There is going to be an audience for this kind of entertainment and let us be fair; why deny them if they want it? What we can do is monitor the behaviour or our children, educate the children on rights and wrongs. Also, there are other ways such as installing firewalls against this type of content.

But the most effective way is to strictly monitor what the children are using the internet for.

We cannot restrain the adult sites but only guide and monitor the children activities. The children should be encouraged to devote more time to studies, sports and extra curricular activities. The time on TV and computer especially internet should be restricted. The possibility of teenagers viewing adult content is not such a serious matter as one gets into adulthood at eighteen. Ultimately, the children will know everything and sex should not be a taboo or dirty word. Too much restriction may be counterproductive.
It may be added that when there was no internet, our forefathers would read 'dirty' literature procured from footpath vendors. Thus there is nothing alarming about internet adult sites.

Parents should monitor the children when they sit in computers.I think many browsers have got the facilities to block sites. So parents can block adult websites in their computer so that children will not watch them.

There is one more media called Television which is also having this type of content. There is no blocking here. Only way is to change the channel or switch off the television to avoid children from seeing it.

Meean- parents should take necessary measures to control children. If they can properly groom them up to Tenth level, children will take care of themselves as grown up adults. after 10th class, the children need not be strictly watched but supported and complemented for their good performance and some times mildly chided and warned for wrong activities. Too much control of children in teens is not useful.

I think Sexual content on Internet is available on huge quantity so It should be banned by Indian Govt.

@Santosh, like I mentioned earlier, adult entertainment is now being widely accepted and there is no way Govt can ban it. If at all it is banned, imagine the number of people going jobless and huge revenue losses!!

Recent example as you may be aware was the banning of dance bars in Mumbai and several places close to Mumbai. What was the result? thousands of young girls have no jobs and have now turned to prostitution. At least when they were working as dancers, there was negligible amount of sex involved but now without a job, they have no where to go and no employers would have them as employees. also, the dance bars still exist albeit with different names and different guise.

The important thing would to be monitor our children's activities and educate them to responsibly handle such issues,.

I think We need to stop crime if some one loose job that is they are responsible for loosing it because they know very well bad things have end so they may select his career in other filed which is right.

I agree with Santosh Kumar singh that job opportunity is no excuse for unsocial or immoral activities. We may justify everything on this excuse. The crimes like theft, immoral trafficking in women, pick pocketing, smuggling, drug trafficking- all give employment. We have to create employment in the right direction.
There have to be some restrictions on porn sites. The parents have to supervise. But absolute restriction is not possible on adult content. The children after the stage of 10th class should not be very strictly monitored.

Sexual contents are increasing at tremendous rate on the Internet, there are no effective methods to stop or ban the sites but we can have the prevention methods. These type of content should be banned completely but it is not practically possible.

Nobody is fully aware of the causes of this problem, hence are not that interested in stopping it. This is undoubtedly spoiling the children, youth and obviously their mentality towards society.

Effective measures should be taken to completely eradicate the problem.

One thing is very prickling, whenever we search anything irrelevantly something related to adult information is displayed along. That has to be streamlined
