Sonu Nigam's Twitter post on Azaan..

Sonu Nigam in a Twitter post went on to criticize what he called forced religiousness , regarding Azaan the prayer call that disturbs and wakes him in the morning. Here we must note that SC has already made it clear that loud speakers should not be used in any prayer places . But our successive Communal leaders conveniently look the other way when it comes to certain communities ...The question is , whether the right to pray with loud speakers is more important than the right to sleep and remain healthy and energetic? Like Sonu Nigam rightly pointed out , there was no electricity nor loud speaker during Mohammed s time

There is no need for sycophancy. I myself experienced and seen. , Loud speakers in temples and Mosques are removed.

See the link article provided by One of our members. Read it before jumping to conclusions.

The link article provided by me was about Assam, so how could Rambabu have seen it ..to score a point he wd go to any length !

later on removal of loud speakers took place in most of the sates and regions. I myself stated it.

Oh really ! Most of us seemed to have missed this post , so can you please post a news link here where it says that removal of loud speakers took place in most of the sates and regions.

Also give details as to where it was done !

I hope good sense prevails and rambabu  stops  making false statement s simply to gain points since he has not provided any proof for his claims , as usual ..

It's really sad that Sonu Nigam had to quit Twitter today. The "Freedom of the Expression" brigade, who openly support and voice anti-Indian opinions, they were first to comment on his post on Azaan, abusing him just for expressing his honest opinion. Hypocrisy at its freaking best!!

I dont see why he should quit twitter even if there was a backlash . He should have remained firm in his stand and carried on as if their comments dont really matter. I am sure he had many more supporters than those who opposed his statements

There is no doubt that prayer is important but to much of noise is also not okay.Prayer should be done in proper manner. We cannot ignore a topic of disturbance too.

Can you elaborate on that so that it makes sense ..

Self appointed news channels may resist please.

No. Sonu, quit the Tweeter out of disgust. Because, he was branded as 'Anti Muslim'

How many times are you going to repeat the same things ng , none of us are dense here except probably..

I just want to say that prayer is a very good thing so that shouldn't create a disturbance to anyone in any way.Prayer should not be noisy.

A prayer should be silent. But sadly, both in Hindu temples and Mosques create lot of noise, that in turn creates noise pollution,

Noise pollution lead to many ear related problems, including deafness.

Lol , senseless as usual..

Religion and everything related to it should be a private matter without infringing on others freedom . But in India it is anything but that and we see a lot of precious time and effort being wasted on petty matters where even coming up with a statement saying that someone gets disturbed because of the noise created by certain religious followers leads to a Twitter war . Here , it looks as if raising his voice against something that is illegal and has been banned by the Supreme court, Sonu Nigam has done the unthinkable.

HC  said on Soni Nigam row  that Azaan is an integral part of doesn't have to be blared through loud speakers.

From this it is evident that SonuNigam is right

I guess by now we all have read and written about this...if you have anything new to add do so or else please refrain from making unnecessary posts that is repetitive

What I expressed is related to current news on Sonu Nogam

Current meaning , did the HC come up with this in the past week? Or are you again pulling a fast one like you always do ..
