A Home minister's stature warrants for a minimum level of caliber. If he doesn't know English, he should have talked in Hindi our Rashtra Bhasha.

He has always come up with such outrageous statements and his expressions too show that he never takes things as they should be taken since you see him talking with a superior half smile as if they the politicians are above such things - thick skinned to the core !.... It is only when the VIP culture vanishes that these politicians begin to take the suffering of ordinary folks seriously and stop making inconsequential and dumb statements !

The entire Congress clan is a collection of clowns.they are a carefully chosen lot. Though there are afew exceptions, it seems they don't want to look like an odd man out. That's why they too prefer to stay as clowns. The common rope that binds them all together is snobbery of the highest order.

I also think that no politician in his right mind would say what we make out of such statements. Let's leave it here and look at the true point that Shinde was trying to put across. Thank you.

A ruling party leader should know that whatever message he conveys to the public especially on sensitive issues, should be very clear to avoid misinterpretations. Let it be any language. We have our own RashtraBhasha Hindi. I want to say instead of using English in an erratic way, he should have used a language in which he's confident.

We understood what he meant. My question is why one should cling to a language in which he's not good. Being a central minister why he's not using Raj Bhasha?

We as a multi linguistic society must not make it a point to pull it like rubber but must see the elasticity point. I am no good at many languages but some time try to speak them. If I make mistakes that is not my intention but my lack of knowledge of that particular language. If we got the point correctly then language should not be a point of discussion. After all a a language is used to express our points.
