There are many shortcomings of Man Mohan singh government. Non BJP parties may also not be totally secular. But the saffroin block is definitely very dangerous. We don't feel the danger so much as the previous BJP led governments were formed with secular allies like Trinmool Congress, Samata party led by George Fernandez etc. So many Hindutva extremist projects were not implemented. This caused frustration in other wings of saffron block- namely Bajarang Dal, Vishva Hindu Parishad etc. Thus what man Mohan singh says is very relevant and true.

There is a very popular saying A bad worksman blames his tools - that is precisely the case with our PM. In his speech which is supposed to announce his retirement, he should have concentrated on issues where he failed, at least feeing genuinely sorry for failing to do anything worthwhile. In fact all that he has done is happily globe trotting all through his tenure as a PM.When he blamews Modi and says terrorism on the streets of Ahemadabad, what about his own state Delhi? so does he take the blame on himself for all the rapes and murders ? He ,Shinde and Shiela Doxit came out with such insensitive statements that became the downfall of Congress which is not the case with Modi ! He has won thrice and is still going very strong ! This is typical Congress mentality of diverting issues since their cup of scams and misdeeds is full and brimming over and they have no issues left on which they can speak... A PM of nation should not dig history time and again against CM of a influential state, there are numerous clashes and riots, recently, in Rajastan and UP, so both CM are also guilty of it as there are enough evidence, thoguh they try to charge BJP MLA but rejected by courts, after court's verdict it seems useless except a political statement, though it will favor Modi as in past the famous or infamous "Maut ka Saudagar" from president of Congress party give maximum leverage to modi in one such election, and PM has similarly echoed this, Congress is still not learning from their mistakes, or PM is deliberating making this statement as he is retiring and may do not want his party to be in power for next ten years, everything is possible as he may want third term but his party do not want it.

India is a secular country but not a sheudo secular country, I would prefer to stay in Gujrat, Goa and TN and Odisha, than staying in so called secular provinces where, crimes rates touched rocketing heights.

Secularism or lack of it should not be made an issue here, but primary concerns such as food and personal security to each individual citizen should be the prime focus. And in that respect Delhi along with so-called secular states is right at the bottom of the list where Gujarat fairs quite better. So instead of making such statements not becoming to his status and position, the PM should do some serious introspection!

As far crime is concerned almost every state down south is crime free compared with the states like Delhi and around. Governance is not the only factor but it could be due to many social and economical reasons. That would not be proper if I write those reasons in public forums but we shall have to look at the root of the problems. Perhaps states once under the rule of Moughals are worst sufferers, perhaps the culture of the area changed beyond repair. Do they have any choice but not act like a secular to remain in government?

Knowing that Modi is the most favored among all cadidates the congress and other parties are going all out to tarnish his image since they cannot give him a corrupt lable even if they tried , which I am sure they have. I’m a full supporter of your views on PM. He has humiliated both his knowledge, whatever he’s acclaimed of and his own self and decided to settle in his comfort zone. By any standards, he has proved himself as the most undignified PM of this country.
