One of the telugu directors got tensed and went to the stage and shouted "Is it Centenary celebration of Indian cinema or a Musical program by Orchestra?

The centenary celebrations of Indain Cinema took place in Nehru stadium, Chennai for the past four days. The grand celebartion took place yesterday. This was attended by the stalwarts of the South indian film industry.
The South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce (SIFCC) has successfully completed the celebrations. The final event yesterday, was attended by the President , Chief Ministers of four sotuh states and film celebrities.
Here in North we don't about this festival. I think it is celebrated by South film Industry.
Yes, South Indian Film Chamber of commerce conducted the festival where all the film celebrities of Southern films were felicitated,
Here we never watched South Indian Films. In these different channels are showing dub films of South but we are least interested in these.
Dubbed films and even some TV serials dubbed in to locall language are not popular here also. The dubbing is so poor and synchronization is so bad, viewers stopped seeing them.

Loud acting is prevailing everywhere, And unbelievable actions are omnipresent. That's why India is unable to produce a film worthy of an Oscar. India as a whole produces escapist movies, which are not accepted by the high standards of Oscars. Even Lagaan on which we pinned high hopes, fallen flat at the altar of Oscars.
Classic movies are the need of hour, movie makers should utilize more time on research works of screen play, actors are coming from actor families, this means that natural born actors are not getting chances, some film makers continue to do sensual films, some are producing films like anything, it is high time, India should concentrate on good movies.

Right now mediocrity is ruling the roost in the Tinsel world. "Make a quick movie and pocket the Bucks" is the norm here. I don't blame entirely the movie makers. We need a change in the viewers too.
