A single session of Thai yoga can ease muscle tension, reduce stress levels, increase agility of the joints, not to mention, pump energy into the bodyI have not so good feelings about Yoga, as I am firm believer of exercise physical outdoor and indoor, though others must differ with it, from my society every body believes in doing firm exercise instead of Yoga, if not performed under strict guide lines can have negative indications.

Yoga has been proving its efficacy since centuries. Physical exercises strengthen your physique only. Where as Yoga is a holistic cure which is beneficial to Body mind and soul.

It depends of the person. I have habit of doing Yoga daily especially Meditation and Pranayama. I never had any guidance from the instructor. In these days of effective communication system. one can easily refer any website to get guidance. I refer to a plethora of videos available in Utube.

It did not happen to me and to many others who are performing yoga since years who learned through 'Self Taught ' books. But i agree that it should not be done in a jiffy. 'Calm and slow' is the key to success in Yoga.
